When I started at Hugs, I was an infant room teacher. I then, became a floater throughout all the rooms until I finally found my calling in the early toddler room. I graduated from Riverview High School. Gained an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and was a part time nanny for many years. My hobbies include traveling and spending time with my family and dogs.
I have worked at Hugs Away from Home since 2016. I am currently the 18 month to 24 month old teacher. I graduated from Osbourn Park High School in Manassas, VA. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my daughter.
I am the Assistant Teacher in our 2 year old classroom. I 've been working with young children for many years and hope to get my CDA (Child Development Associate) here in the near future. I love getting down on the floor with the kids to play and read books. I also have 2 nephews that are a huge part of my life along with my lovely dog Sydney.
For the past 26 years, I have been the owner of Hugs Away from Home Inc. Along with being the owner, I love being a teacher in the older toddler room. I graduated from Blackhawk High School. Where I then was a travel agent for many years, working for American Express. My lifelong dream was to open up my own daycare, so one day I did just that and haven’t regretted a single second since. This business is my life and I have been blessed to have such amazing children, parents and employees. Outside of Hugs, I enjoy camping and spending time with my friends and family.
