"For the past 30 years, I have been the owner of Hugs Away from Home Inc. Along with being the owner, I love being a teacher in the older toddler room. I graduated from Blackhawk High School and was previously a travel agent for many years working for American Express. My lifelong dream was to open up my own daycare, so one day I did just that and haven’t regretted a single second since. This business is my life and I have been blessed to have such amazing children, parents and employees. Outside of Hugs, I enjoy camping and spending time with my friends and family."

"I have worked at Hugs Away from Home since I was 18 years old. I am currently one of the school-aged teachers. I graduated from Carlow University in 2018 with a bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. In my free time I like to spend time with my children and hang out with family and friends."
